The Schallerhof is located at 1,250 metres above sea level above Sterzing. You can reach the town in just over 10 minutes by car. On foot it takes around 1 hour.

By car: We can be reached via a mountain road typical of South Tyrol: The road is narrow and winding, but has plenty of passing places and is well maintained. In winter, winter equipment is compulsory (please think about winter tyres or snow chains in good time). Even in winter, the road is easily passable and is regularly cleared.

Bus & train: On Tuesdays and Fridays there is a bus service on the mountain. The bus stop in the valley is ‘Nordpark’ – not far from the Rosskopf valley station. The bus stop on the mountain is about 500 metres from the Schallerhof (Please note: this bus ride is NOT included in the activeCard Sterzing!

It is advisable to pre-book a taxi from the Wiesen/Pfitsch (Sterzing) railway station or the Flixbus station. If possible, we also offer a pick-up service – please contact us directly!
